A company can Timeshare ask you to pay for the gifts they gave you at the time of sale if you ask Cance?
A part time business may ask you to pay for the gifts they gave you at the time of sale if you ask to cancel your contract because of misrepresentation? We bought a timeshare and have been deceived by the sales agent. In doing our research and contact society, they agreed to let us out of our contract, we are paying for the cruise, they gave us the time we bought. The cruise was a "gift" as long as we stayed for more than six months members. We have been members of more than one year stage. Is it fair to ask us to refund the money for the cruise?
It's perfectly legal IF that was disclosed in your contract of sale. apartment buildings do the exact same thing with promotional offers such as "first month free" or "$ 1000 compensation for a rent on your first month. "These offers are conditional upon the performance of your contract. Otherwise, it would prevent people from making the free cruise and cancellation of their contract the day they return? Not smart business. You do not get to keep the award for breach of contract.
